In an emergency maintenance situation, we understand that it’s important to be able to speak to someone as quickly as possible to get help!

If the emergency occurs outside of our office hours of Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm, please follow the steps below:

 

Step 1. Identify if you have to call a contractor immediately

Examples of an emergency

  • Burst water service
  • Gas leak
  • Dangerous electrical fault
  • No water
  • Sewerage leak
  • Security gates – Strata complexes only
  • Lift faults (for apartment buildings)
  • Smashed windows caused by accident and/or vandalism
  • Reticulation broken – Strata complexes only
  • Severe storm damage

For Strata complexes please refer to your strata plan to ensure that the area is covered by the Strata Company.

What isn’t classed as an emergency?

  • Locked out of your home (occupants to arrange locksmith)
  • Blocked toilet – if there is more than one toilet at the property
  • Blocked or leaking showers or sinks
  • Stove or oven not working
  • Air conditioning not working
  • Hot water system going hot and cold
  • Reticulation not working – Property management only

The above non-emergency situations should be reported to your Property Manager or Strata Manager on our next business day during business hours on 9592 8188.

If your required maintenance is listed as an emergency, please call one of the relevant approved contractors.
